Too Cute!

This little munchkin is just too cute. I snapped this picture over at my sister-in-law's the other night. She has a knack for decorating and I couldn't pass up the photo opportunity her front porch offered. Of course.... Tagen just makes the porch that much cuter.

Tagen's First Tooth

Tagen's first tooth broke through yesterday. It's been a long time coming... I have to say that for the tooth to
actually be breaking through the surface, she was only sad and irritable for about 20 minutes.
The rest of the day she was back to our happy-go-lucky-taking-the-world-in-stride Tagen.
There was a lot of this happening throughout the day... with a lot of drool...
And lots of me putting my fingers in her mouth to see if there was success yet...
(I love that she still has a smile on her face during the 'procedure')
And FINALLY... A TOOTH!
You can see the whiteness peeking through her gums.

Here's to many more teeth to come!

New Blog...

I've started a new blog... a picture a day from my life. I wanted to act upon Elder Eyring's address to write down something each day that reminds us of Heavenly Father's hand in our lives. I'm going to post a picture each day that reminds me of His blessings for me....
You can watch part of his inspiring talk, "O Rememer, Remember," HERE

A nice Surprise...

These showed up on my doorstep yesterday. My sweet husband sent them to me with the wish that "they might cheer up my day."
Well, they did! Thanks Brad! I love you!

my new favorites...

I have new favorite pictures of Tagen... Of course, my favorites change almost every
time I take a picture of her... but for now... these are the favs.
Thanks to Ash for making such a great hat... it turned into a great prop!

This last one is my favorite.
Her expression says so much to me. And those CHEEKS!...
I could just eat them up!

Practicing....

So... Since I got my new camera, I've been taking A LOT of pictures.
I've been practicing a TON and my poor family and friends have been my test subjects.
I've had a lot of fun though.
Here's some of my pics...
This is Brad's brother and his family
Their boys
Roslyn - a friend of Olivia

Broken Sunlight
Mr. Slinky

This whole photography is really addicting. Thank goodness for the DIGITAL camera that lets you take a TON of pictures and see the results right now. I can't imagine how much this would be costing me if I had to have them all printed first to see how they turned out. We'd be broke!

Bear Lake Retreat...

We took a trip with Brad's family to Bear Lake this past weekend. His brother and sister-in-law had access to a FANTASTIC cabin in Harbor Village and invited us all to stay the weekend with them. We had such an incredible time with family. We're so grateful for the invite!
Thanks Richard and Marianne!
Olivia on the drive to Bear Lake. She asked every 5 minutes if we were at the lake yet.
Then she asked me to start taking pictures of her. She's so funny.
Olivia decided to 'put her feet up' during the drive.
Finally! The long awaited Bear Lake.
Tagen loving being out of her carseat!
More of my happy baby.
Brad relaxing and letting me take tons of pictures of him with my new camera.
Tagen still playing...
One of our views from the deck. Truly an incredible place to stay!
My love.
She couldn't even wait to get into her swimming suit before she was in the water.
We literally had to pull her away from the water to go eat dinner.
She's in HEAVEN.

More beach time.
I took some family portraits for Brad's brother and when we were done, Olivia begged for her picture to be taken.
She started posing like this all on her own. What a ham!

After the beach, we let her play in the pool at Harbor Village.
This is her shaking the water off her feet.
I think this kid was supposed to be a fish.
