More Rain play...

Sunday we took the opportunity to drive up to Cache Valley to spend the day with my parents and a couple of my siblings. It rained from the minute we left Bountiful. It rained the whole way there. It continued raining WHILE we were there... but, after a little bit, we got a break and sent the kids out to play. Olivia quickly found this puddle and the rest, as they say, was history... I just can't deny her all the fun she has playing in the water. It's great self entertainment, harmless, and just plain fun.... as you can tell from these pictures.

Playing in the Rain!

I love summer rain showers. It's warm outside and feels great to smell the rain and enjoy the sprinkles. Olivia begged and begged to "feel the rain on me" and Brad reminded me that no one ever got hurt from a little bit of rain... So, I let her out to have a good time. Here's some pictures of her rompings through the rain....

Tagen's 6 Month Checkup

We went to Tagen's 6 month check up yesterday. She's doing fantastic. Look at those cheeks... How could this child NOT be doing great? The doctor was very pleased with her stats and with her development. She's right on schedule and as happy as ever...

at least she was until she got the three shots in her legs. No Bueno.
